On May 27, the DARA Institute participated in the Preparatory Conference of the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents, a preparatory meeting in preparation for the 13th National Conference on the Rights of Children and Adolescents.
The meeting brought together representatives of civil society, public service professionals, organizations that work with children and adolescents and young people for whom these public policies are directed. The meeting was marked by dialogue, active listening and a collective construction of proposals aimed at the guarantee of rights.
DARA’s presence and participation in these events shows Dara´s commitment to take an active part in the elaboration of more effective, inclusive public policies that can effect concrete changes for the better in the lives of children, adolescents and their families. After all, listening to those who live in the territory is an essential step to transform realities.
